Pookode Lake, Wayanad
Pookode Lake is a natural freshwater lake nestled amidst evergreen forests and rolling hills, featuring a freshwater aquarium with a diverse array of fish. Visitors can also enjoy boating, a children's park, and a shopping center for handicrafts and spices.
Wayanad is situated at elevations ranging from 700 to 2,100 meters above sea level and boasts the highest number of tribal settlements in Kerala. The hill ranges in Vythiri taluk, which the road from Kozhikode traverses as it climbs the Wayanad plateau, represent the district's highest points.
