Munnar
Munnar is formed by the confluence of three mountain streams: Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundala. Situated 1,600 meters above sea level, this hill station served as a summer retreat for the former British Government in South India. Renowned as one of Kerala's premier honeymoon destinations, Munnar offers a variety of resorts and accommodations to suit all budgets. Its expansive tea plantations, charming towns, winding roads, and holiday amenities make it a favored getaway. Among the unique flora in the area's forests and grasslands is the Neelakurinji, a flower that blankets the hills in blue every twelve years, with its next bloom set for 2030. Munnar is also home to Anamudi, the highest peak in South India, rising over 2,695 meters.
