9 Days 8 Nights Munnar | Wayanad

Cochin to Munnar

• Pick up from Cochin and drive to Munnar.
• Visit Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, Tea Plantations, and Spice Garden on the way.
• Reach Munnar and rest for the day at the hotel.

Munnar

• Suggest starting at 9 am for sightseeing with Eravikulam National Park visit followed by Tea Museum.
• Post lunch, we visit the Mattuppetty dam, Echo point, Kundala Lake, Viewpoints, Pothamedu view point and Botanical Garden.
• Note: The Eravikulam National Park tickets can be booked in advance or at the counter.
• The park is closed from Feb to April due to the breeding time of goats.
• Tea Museum is closed on Monday.

Munnar Sightseeing Continues

• On third day of Munnar we will be exploring more places of Munnar.
• After breakfast start for the sightseeing which includes Lockheart view point, Lakkam waterfall, Marayur sandalwood forest and Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary. Check into the hotel and take rest.

Cochin

• Depending on the time availability, Cochin sightseeing includes Fort Kochi, Navy Museum, St. Francis Church, Chinese fishing net, Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Marian Drive, Marine walk way, boating, Tripunithura Hill Palace.
• You can find some time for shopping at Cochin.
• Overnight accommodation at Cochin.
• Hill palace opens from 9 AM to 4 PM and is closed on Mondays, and Dutch Palace is closed on Fridays.
• The Synagogue is open from 10 AM to 1 PM and 3PM to 5 PM and is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.

Cochin to Guruvayoor

• Drive to Guruvayoor.
• Visit the famous Guruvayoor Sree Krishna temple.
• After darshan, you can visit the elephant care center with more than 50 elephants.
• You may not be able to get closer to the elephants but watch them from a distance.
• Overnight stay at Guruvayoor.

Guruvayur to Wayanad (7hrs/180Km)

• It take 6 to 7 hours to reach Wayanad. 
• You will reach hotel in the evening. 
• Check into the hotel and take rest.

Wayanad Sightseeing

• Depending on the time available, sightseeing attractions in Wayanad include Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary, Pookode Lake, Lakkidi, Kuruva Island, Banasura Dam and Edakkal Cave.
• Overnight accommodation at Wayanad.
